He studied solo singing at the Prague Conservatory of Music and at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Prague and had engagements at the Silesian Theatre in Opava, at Teplice Theatre, at the Municipal Theatre Magdeburg (Germany), State Theatre in Brno, Prague Chamber Opera; he had guest performances at the National Theatre in Prague, at the Leipzig Opera Theatre (Germany), and in cooperation with foreign agencies all over Europe and also in Israel (Tel Aviv, Jerusalem). He gave concerts in many important concert halls in the Czech Republic as well as abroad, mostly singing songs. Several times he received premiums of the Czech music fund for the presentation of the contemporary Czech song production in his homeland as well as abroad. He has made many radio, television, phonograph a CD recordings.
